SUNGREEN FLAT PLATE COLLECTOR:
Flat plate collector made up of thin copper sheet on which a selective coating being given to ensure optimum heat transfer, fabricated with a grid or coil of fluid tubing and placed in an insulated casing with a glass cover. Water is circulated through the copper tubes which absorbs the heat from the fins and gets heated, then stored in an insulated tank which avoids heat loss during night.
